My Story

I am a self taught fibre artist who is passionate about environmental impact, re-using and up-cycling. Using wool like paint, I create 2D art inspired by the natural environment. I work to bespoke commissions and have a ready to buy range too. My work also includes creating one of a kind needle felted pictures of wedding couples and wedding venues for that special gift or card.

I have discovered a passion for experimenting with how different fabrics can be re-purposed and needle felted together. Carefully creating unique designs on denim and wool blankets, I then sew these one off creations into purses, useful bags and handbags.

I upcycle as much of my fibres as possible in my artwork. Using pre-loved wool blankets and discarded wool packaging as backgrounds. I scour charity shops for illusive silk scarves, discarded pure wool materials and jaunty cotton fabrics to complete my bag range.

My aim is to share this love of re-purposing textiles through my workshops and artwork.
